LE GIARE CILINDRICHE EGIZIANE IN CONTESTO SUD-LEVANTINO NEL BRONZO ANTICO IB: UN AGGIORNAMENTO DELLE EVIDENZE E ALCUNE CONSIDERAZIONI PRELIMINARI

The aim of this paper is to examine the presence of Egyptian Wavy-Handled jars or cylindrical jars within the contexts dated to the Early Bronze Age IB in the Southern Levant. We propose an update of the evidence and a contextual study to deepen the Egyptian-Levantine correlations during the period in question. We wish to emphasize the possibility of refining the internal periodization of the Early Bronze Age IB and of working more closely on the correlation between the strata of the Southern Levantine sites, thanks to finds of noteworthy chronological value.
