Can experimental prebiotic chemistry be improved by predictive and comprehensive computational approaches able to generalize the different suggested reductionist models? This fundamental question is addressed in the review “Prebiotic chemistry and origin of life research with atomistic computer simulations”, in which the authors highlight the advantages, as well as the limitations, in the use of modern atomistic computer simulations for modeling the synthesis of the molecular building blocks that are associated to the emergence of life.

Abstract
Can experimental prebiotic chemistry be improved by predictive and comprehensive computational approaches able to generalize the different suggested reductionist models? This fundamental question is addressed in the review “Prebiotic chemistry and origin of life research with atomistic computer simulations”, in which the authors highlight the advantages, as well as the limitations, in the use of modern atomistic computer simulations for modeling the synthesis of the molecular building blocks that are associated to the emergence of life.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
