Abstract

Microwave thermal ablation is a therapeutic technique used to destroy tumours by way of a high temperature increases induced by the absorption of an electromagnetic field at microwave frequencies. In this contribution, the proposal for a new device able to monitor in real time the temperature during microwave thermal ablation procedures will be presented.
