This paper presents the preliminary results of the 2025 excavation campaign at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, which concludes the investigations in the areas of the northern nave and the Rotunda intercolumniations, allowing for an initial topographical synthesis of the entire complex. The research clarifies the role of the quarry on Gareb Hill as the geomorphological and functional matrix of the subsequent Roman and Constantinian monumentalization phases, documenting multiple extraction phases, bedrock regularization, and agricultural and funerary reuses. This framework is further enriched by new evidence on the channeling and drainage system of the Early Christian complex, as well as on the structural evolution of the Latin convent in the Patriarchion sector. The study also presents the first results of the material culture analysis, with two focuses on Iron Age ceramics and medieval to modern glazed wares, and one on residues of metallurgical activities, outlining patterns of production, circulation, and spatial reuse within a diachronic and multidisciplinary perspective.

Abstract
The study also presents the first results of the material culture analysis, with two focuses on Iron Age ceramics and medieval to modern glazed wares, and one on residues of metallurgical activities, outlining patterns of production, circulation, and spatial reuse within a diachronic and multidisciplinary perspective.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
