Current and next-generation standards of terrestrial and satellite wireless communications require ever increasing data rates and denser mobile connectivity, thus pushing the exploitation of frequencies beyond microwaves, i.e., millimeter waves and low THz spectrum [1]. Advanced antenna solutions are needed at these frequencies, possibly based on all-metal structures to reduce losses, as well as to achieve compact and robust designs.

Abstract
Current and next-generation standards of terrestrial and satellite wireless communications require ever increasing data rates and denser mobile connectivity, thus pushing the exploitation of frequencies beyond microwaves, i.e., millimeter waves and low THz spectrum [1].
