This study aims to explore the relationship between cinema and the borgata, using the image cinematographic as a methodological tool to investigate and comprehend the formative processes of the settlement system. Analyzing the films that have used the borgata as location, we aim to examine the ways in which cinema represents and influences the collective perception of these places, with the objective of understanding the socio-cultural changes that have occurred over time.
