This article presents a georeferenced dataset of 2D study models of the church of Sant’Andrea della Valle in Rome, a key monument of Theatine architecture. Integrating architectural, historical, and geospatial data, the dataset supports interdisciplinary research, heritage documentation, and digital preservation. It originates from a 3D laser scanning campaign conducted in 2023, combined with archival and bibliographic investigations mapping Theatine settlements in Italy and abroad. Sant’Andrea della Valle was selected for its historical relevance and unresolved questions about its architectural evolution. The dataset includes a CAD file with 2D restitution (bidimensional study model) derived from 3D point clouds, a GIS-compatible shapefile, and a KML file for Google Earth. The point cloud, captured with a Z + F 5016 scanner, was aligned in Z + F LaserControl and processed in AutoCAD to produce plans, elevations, and sections later georeferenced in AutoCAD Map 3D; Georeferencing ensured spatial consistency and integration with other datasets for multi-scale architectural and urban analysis. Archival sources were digitized and linked to the spatial models, enabling reconstruction of construction phases and stylistic evolution. The dataset supports architectural, historical, and urban studies by providing standardized, reusable CAD, GIS, and KML formats. Despite some gaps in archival data and variable point cloud density, it offers a robust, reproducible basis for analyzing Theatine architecture and preserving its heritage through digital documentation. The georeferencing of the plan derived from the surveys can contribute to creating a comprehensive, georeferenced mapping of all Theatine works in Italy and worldwide.
