This research addresses the importance of understanding human rights as a cultural experience, due to the plurality of norms, cultures, values, traditional practices, beliefs, and institutions that have developed throughout the civilizing process. Thus, each nation has its own peculiarity based on human coexistence, which is why the approach is based on understanding cultural pluralism as opposed to overcoming ethnocentrism, in order to build respect for minority positions that represent the identification of a given people, but which, on the other hand lack reflection and debate, lack reflection and debate, so that tradition and cultural manifestation are not used to justify social regression, such as gender inequality, child marriage, mutilation, segregation of people by class, religion or ethnicity, among other means of discrimination. Therefore, the sociological method is necessary through a minimum basis of coexistence so that the absorption of human rights is not a process of deculturation, but a reflection based on new social yearnings, public education policies, legislative changes, and finally, the effective application of the law.
