Effrazioni nella forma

The representation of a project is the testing ground for architectural form and the possibilities of geometric manipulation connected to its figures and trajectories. Within the Euclidean logic of planar drawing, the object can free itself from material contingency to reveal the internal tensions that regulate the proxemic relationships between its components. Distances, alignments, shadow characteristics, attractions, and contrasts generate meaning even before the built space. At this point, the obstructive nature of Piranesi’s walls and the multiple figures inhabiting his chiaroscuro universe becomes clear.

La rappresentazione del progetto è il banco di prova per la forma architettonica e le possibilità di manipolazione geometrica connesse alle sue figure e traiettorie. Nell’euclideismo del disegno piano, l’oggetto può liberarsi della contingenza materica per rivelare le tensioni interne che regolano il rapporto prossemico tra le sue componenti. Distanze, allineamenti, caratteristiche umbratili, attrazioni e contrasti, generano significato prima ancora dello spazio costruito. Allora è chiara la natura ostruzionistica dei muri piranesiani e delle molteplici figure che abitano il suo universo chiaroscurale.
