This paper deals with the numerical simulation of the results of an experimental campaign performed at the ENEA Casaccia Research Center on an unreinforced and a reinforced ma- sonry wall with an innovative strengthening technique derived from the CAM solution. The nonlinear constitutive response of masonry is accounted for in the numerical model by nonlin- ear lumped hinges with a modified Bouc-Wen constitutive law, introduced in a macroelement in the framework of the equivalent frame model. The comparison between numerical and ex- perimental outcomes appears to be satisfactory, proving the accuracy of the simplified model.
