The representation of prison reality is part of a deterrent system developed by civil society that influences our social re- lationships and our perception of person- al responsibility. Places of detention are therefore effective for those who are out- side, since their reality is left to the imagi- nation. When these places of exclusion are revealed and staged, they put the person at the centre and tell of a system that is any- thing but ethical.
