Abstract
As tangible memories of a traumatic past, bunkers are ‘modern ruins’ abandoned along the coastlines and national borders. This paper contributes to their recognition as heritage, analysing the case study of the Cagliari Bay as an important part of the fortified network of Sardinia for its defence during WW II. Using military archival sources, these bunkers have been studied using different scales and focuses, aiming to give them an active role in the future of the territory they are settled in.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
