In an era dominated by technological innovation and rampant consumption, the project seeks to prioritise social innovation by actively involving the educational community in the design process. The originality of the approach lies in integrating design within educational pathways, promoting a participatory and multidisciplinary model that, by revisiting the historical roots of design, identifies its primary resources within specific contexts through the active listening of communities. The research aims to develop and test an educational toolkit to support and simplify learning through collaboration between experts and communities, with the goal of creating a lasting impact on society and the environment.
L’idea di ricerca esplora l’importanza del design educativo come strumento per affrontare le sfide contemporanee legate alla sostenibilità ambientale e sociale. In un’epoca dominata dall’innovazione tecnologica e dal consumo sfrenato, si propone di dare priorità all'innovazione sociale, coinvolgendo attivamente la comunità educante nel processo di progettazione. L’originalità dell’approccio risiede nell'integrazione del design nei percorsi educativi, promuovendo un modello partecipativo e multidisciplinare che, ripartendo dalle fonti storiche del design, individui le sue risorse primarie nel contesto specifico attraverso l’ascolto attivo delle comunità. La ricerca mira a sviluppare e testare un toolkit educativo per favorire e semplificare l’apprendimento, attraverso la collaborazione tra esperti e comunità, con l’obiettivo di creare un impatto duraturo sulla società e sull'ambiente.
