This paper introduces the atmospheric paradigm as an innovative approach to archaeological territories, integrating affective dimensions with scientific data to bridge the gap between interpretation and experience. Through phenomenographic mapping of the ancient Via Appia - Via Latina Road system, the research demonstrates how "presentification" strategies can transform archaeological sites from isolated artifacts to active presences in the contemporary landscape.
