Abstract
In recent decades, the increasingly widespread use of digital tools in the field of cultural heritage— and in the practices of conservation, protection, and enhancement of artistic heritage —has, on the one hand, opened up highly innovative possibilities for scholars, and on the other, prompted critical reflections on their application and meaning. Although more than a decade has passed since Johanna Drucker initiated the debate on Digital Art History, the topic remains highly relevant and calls for renewed critical attention. What is the state of the ongoing discussion on this topic? This contribution offers a brief reflection intended to revisit the issue in light of the current context.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
