This year has been another incredible milestone for our Images in Radiology collection as the number of exciting and high-quality submissions from around the globe continues to rise. In 2024, the submissions almost doubled in number in comparison to when the article type was first introduced in 2021. The Images in Radiology collection encompasses exceptional imaging representations of both common as well as extremely rare conditions. It serves not only to highlight the significant contributions of medical imaging to clinical practice but also to provide an educational resource for radiologists and radiologists-in-training. Another important aspect conveyed by Images in Radiology is to demonstrate striking examples of technological progress in the radiologic field. Images in Radiology editors work under the mentorship of the senior deputy editors of Radiology, Dr Vicky Goh and Dr Kathryn Fowler, as well as the editor, Dr Linda Moy. They ultimately pick the best articles for publication based on peer review and editorial decisions. Because of the increasing number of submissions, the Images in Radiology team recently was expanded to nine editors. Perpetuating the procedure established in the past years, these editors, in tandem with the members of the Radiology In Training editorial board under the leadership of Dr Victoria Chernyak, selected the Top Images in Radiology of 2024 published between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024. These rankings are based on the visual attractiveness, novelty of the imaging techniques displayed, educational value, and overall impact. The 30 most popular among the 62 Images in Radiology articles published during the past academic year were eligible for voting and ranked by each voter selecting their personal top three articles.

Abstract
The 30 most popular among the 62 Images in Radiology articles published during the past academic year were eligible for voting and ranked by each voter selecting their personal top three articles.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
