This contribution aims to analyse the impact of reclamation operations in the context of the Po Delta region, from the beginning of the 20th century to the post-World War II period, with particular attention to the evolution of the agricultural landscape and the significant archaeological discoveries of the Etruscan Spina cemeteries. By examining the socio-economic context and the local perceptions of reclamation, the transformation of perspectives over time will be highlighted, shifting from viewing reclamation as a saving action in the early 1950s to a more critical and complex vision in subsequent periods. As will be seen, the debate surrounding the desired museum of Comacchio also evolved in parallel.

Abstract
This contribution aims to analyse the impact of reclamation operations in the context of the Po Delta region, from the beginning of the 20th century to the post-World War II period, with particular attention to the evolution of the agricultural landscape and the significant archaeological discoveries of the Etruscan Spina cemeteries. By examining the socio-economic context and the local perceptions of reclamation, the transformation of perspectives over time will be highlighted, shifting from viewing reclamation as a saving action in the early 1950s to a more critical and complex vision in subsequent periods. As will be seen, the debate surrounding the desired museum of Comacchio also evolved in parallel.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
