The contribution aims to analyze the evolution of the Caserta territory from Roman times to the present day, with a particular focus on identifying the impacts of post-war transformations on the landscape and existing built heritage, using digital tools. This is done to promote the recognition of traces of ancient systems within the current urban fabric, facilitating the identification of the identity and historical characteristics of the territory, which are also fundamental for understanding contemporary changes.
