The article offers a preliminary presentation of the author’s doctoral project, which focuses on the necropolis of the Cava della Pozzolana in Cerveteri. The aim is to illustrate the main research perspectives to which the resumption of the study on this context could hopefully contribute, and to give a first brief overview of the problems related to the Early Iron Age in this area.
