The inaugural lecture of the Advanced Training Course in Roman Law took place at the Faculty of Law, Sapienza University of Rome on the 30th of January 2025, attended by professors in Roman law, Costitutional law and Civil law. The purpose of the initiative was to celebrate and reflect on Giuseppe Branca’s contributions to law, institutions and politics. He was a Jurist, President of Constitutional Court and member of the Senate. Specifically, professors discussed the topic Le Scelte di Vita di Giuseppe Branca: il Diritto, le Istituzioni, la Politica, emphasizing His exegesis’ skills and the innovation of interpretation and application of concepts of Roman law in the contemporary legal systems.
