The article examines the attitude of the European leadership on the topic of Christian roots, focusing on the work of the Convention on the Future of Europe. At the core of the analysis are the proposed amendments to Article 2 and the Preamble of the European Constitution, along with the ensuing debate. By classifying these proposals, the article aims to provide a methodological basis for future studies and to illustrate the attempts to «unite in diversity».
