The PARS Project has been carried out within the School of Specialization in Archaeological Heritage of Bologna University in order to collaborate with the already existing international research project ArchLabs in Piazza Armerina (EN). The archaeologists involved worked together starting with a deep investigation and study of the ancient pathways in the area located between the well-known Villa del Casale and the archaeological site of Sofiana. An interdisciplinary approach, defined by the chronological identification of the archaeological materials found during the survey, coupled with the topographical analysis and both the ancient and modern toponymy of the studied area, led the researchers to confirm the diachronic frequentation of the area. Furthermore, the preliminary study and field work made it possible to retrace the ancient route and to hypothesize its valorization through an archaeological trekking.

Abstract
Furthermore, the preliminary study and field work made it possible to retrace the ancient route and to hypothesize its valorization through an archaeological trekking.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
