This article aims to illustrate the framework and the first steps of the project of a new, revised and expanded version of Lexique d’É. Benveniste, published by J.-C. Coquet and M. Derycke in 1971-1972. After giving an account of the existing terminological repertoires of both linguistic schools and individual linguists, we provide the details of the corpus which serves as a basis for the new lexicon. The drafts of three entries are then presented as an example of the work in progress: “Jeu” [Game/Play], absent from the Coquet-Derycke lexicon; “Énonciation” [Enunciation/Utterance], which, although present in the original lexicon, refers to a notion whose role and impact have since undergone a profound transformation; “Écriture” [Writing] - also absent from the Coquet-Derycke lexicon - that epitomises the remarkable and unexpected contribution of the present season of Benvenistian studies.

Abstract
This article aims to illustrate the framework and the first steps of the project of a new, revised and expanded version of Lexique d’É. Benveniste, published by J.-C. Coquet and M. Derycke in 1971-1972. After giving an account of the existing terminological repertoires of both linguistic schools and individual linguists, we provide the details of the corpus which serves as a basis for the new lexicon. The drafts of three entries are then presented as an example of the work in progress: “Jeu” [Game/Play], absent from the Coquet-Derycke lexicon; “Énonciation” [Enunciation/Utterance], which, although present in the original lexicon, refers to a notion whose role and impact have since undergone a profound transformation; “Écriture” [Writing] - also absent from the Coquet-Derycke lexicon - that epitomises the remarkable and unexpected contribution of the present season of Benvenistian studies.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
