This paper introduces a framework for grid analysis and simulation by the integration of an open-source simulator into a Digital Twin (DT) environment, where the simulator is built in C++ for high-performance applications. It provides real-time and offline simulation capabilities, making it adaptable to various grid management needs such as comprehensive system-level modelling, predictive maintenance, and real-time grid monitoring. A case study with ASM Terni demonstrates the effectiveness in the coordination of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). The framework is built upon a modular architecture inspired by the open-source project SOGNO, enhancing the scalability and flexibility. In addition, unit testing and code scanning mechanisms ensure the reliability of the solution for sustainable energy management in modern distribution systems.

Abstract
In addition, unit testing and code scanning mechanisms ensure the reliability of the solution for sustainable energy management in modern distribution systems.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
