The rise of the sharing economy together with the growing concern over food waste has led to the development of food sharing business platforms. A relevant issue related with food sharing practices is the measure of the social impact. The main aim of the paper is to identify a set of indicators for assessing the social impact of food sharing platforms through the application of the Theory of Change to a single case study.
