This contribution introduces the Sa. Per. I. database, designed to collect information on theatre schools, advanced training programs, and workshops offered nationwide from the 1930s to the present day. It focuses in particular on the database’s logical-functional framework and architectural design, developed to manage a substantial volume of data and to fulfil a dual objective: on the one hand, to serve institutional needs by documenting the pedagogical methodologies employed by academies and training centres; on the other, to reconstruct the historical development of the institutions involved from an educational and pedagogical perspective. Through the adopted model of data aggregation, the author illustrates how the database enables both synchronic exploration and transversal comparison of the educational offerings across selected institutions, as well as diachronic reconstruction of the internal transformations experienced by each entity over time. The ultimate goal is to determine whether, to what extent, and in which domains such changes have occurred.
Il contributo presenta la banca dai Sa. Per. I. progettata per raccogliere le informazioni relative alle scuole di teatro, ai corsi di perfezionamento e ai laboratori erogati a livello nazionale dagli anni Trenta a oggi. In particolare, si analizza lo schema logico-funzionale e l’architettura del database, concepiti per mettere in relazione un’ampia mole di dati e assolvere a un duplice scopo: fornire un servizio alle istituzioni raccogliendo la documentazione relativa alla didattica delle accademie e dei corsi di formazione e ricostruire la storia delle istituzioni coinvolte da un punto di vista pedagogico. Attraverso la tipologia di aggregazioni adottata, l’autrice ci mostra come sia possibile esplorare sincronicamente e confrontare trasversalmente l’offerta formativa delle scuole prescelte, ma anche di ricostruire diacronicamente i cambiamenti avvenuti nel corso del tempo all’interno di ciascun soggetto produttore, mirando a rilevare se, in che misura e in quali ambiti siano avvenuti questi cambiamenti.
