Niccolò V e i suoi libri greci. Con qualche nuovo dato sui codici provenienti dal monastero del Pantokrator sull'Athos e sul copista Gerasimo

In addition to presenting the project for a new edition of the inventory of Greek manuscripts owned by Pope Nicholas V (1455) and discussing the criteria for the identification of his codices, this paper proposes the attribution of the Triodion Vat. gr. 786 to the papal library of Nicholas V. This manuscript, dated to the year 1378/1379, was written by several scribes, one of whom is identified here as Gerasimos, a monk from the monastery of Pantokrator on Mount Athos, from which comes a larger group of manuscripts in Pope Parentucelli’s Greek collection.
