The qualitative recognition, of different organic substances, presenting one alcoholic group in their molecule, such as, for example, several aliphatic alcohols, by using only a Direct Catalytic Methanol Fuel Cell (DCMFC) type and an appropriate chemometric processing of the experimental data, by means of ComDim program (a multi-block generalization of Principal Component Analysis), has increasingly been proposed, as a valid and simple analytical tool for carrying out qualitative analysis, of several different organic aliphatic alcohols. Two new improvements have been introduced, for enhancing the accuracy, and/or speed, of the proposed format.

Abstract
The qualitative recognition, of different organic substances, presenting one alcoholic group in their molecule, such as, for example, several aliphatic alcohols, by using only a Direct Catalytic Methanol Fuel Cell (DCMFC) type and an appropriate chemometric processing of the experimental data, by means of ComDim program (a multi-block generalization of Principal Component Analysis), has increasingly been proposed, as a valid and simple analytical tool for carrying out qualitative analysis, of several different organic aliphatic alcohols. Two new improvements have been introduced, for enhancing the accuracy, and/or speed, of the proposed format.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
