In this paper, we propose a solution in which the swapping is bypassed by the switches when the path length between two users is limited. The Quantum Memory saving that the swapping by-pass allows to obtain is evaluated by means of an analytical model. The percentage savings in the order of 90% can be achieved in traditional traffic and network scenario.

Abstract
In this paper, we propose a solution in which the swapping is bypassed by the switches when the path length between two users is limited. The Quantum Memory saving that the swapping by-pass allows to obtain is evaluated by means of an analytical model. The percentage savings in the order of 90% can be achieved in traditional traffic and network scenario.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
