Audiological findings for external and middle ear diseases in adults

Audiological evaluation plays an important role in the diagnosis an dtreatment of external/middle eard iseases. Audiological findings provide crucial information for determining the appropriate treatment approach and for evaluating it’s effectiveness. To achieve a correct diagnosis, it is important that an audiologist knows well the audiological tests that should be carried out for diagnosis of external/ middle ear diseases and possible findings. This review article intends to provide guidelines for audiologists. Forthispurpose, it includes definitions, symptoms, differentia ldiagnosis tests and audiological findings in external/middle eardiseases in adults.
