Studio integrato sulla solidarietà e l'accoglienza dei migranti transitanti. Il caso Baobab Experience e la Rete di Rebbio

This paper presents a case study on several associations dedicated to providing emergency assistance to both people on the move and asylum seekers in Italy. The analysis reveals that the high level of commitment and participation is intrinsically linked to the voluntary nature of the actions. Material interventions—such as food and clothing distribution, primary medical and psychological care, and legal assistance—are always accompanied by activities aimed at raising territorial awareness and political advocacy at both national and European levels. From a pedagogical perspective, the focus on relational care combined with transformative aspirations and the possibility for self-determined organization constitutes the core of these experiences, fostering both individual and collective growth.
