This study delves into the impact of multicultural networks on Innovation Ecosystems. Despite the acknowledged performance benefits of diversity within teams, there remains a gap in understanding how MNs influence IEs. Drawing on Cox's interactional model of cultural diversity as a theoretical framework, this paper presents findings from a short-term ethnographic study conducted at the AMS Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions in the city of Amsterdam in which MNs populate the majority of big organizations. The study investigates the role of MNs in enhancing creativity, problem-solving, and intraorganizational relationships within IEs. Key findings reveal that MNs facilitate knowledge exchange, enriching creativity and problem-solving, while also enhancing market opportunity identification. However, MNs can potentially slow execution capacities. The paper emphasizes the importance of MNs in IEs, suggesting that nurturing these networks represents a crucial step for sustainable innovation and prosperity. This research contributes to bridging the gap between MNs and IEs, offering insights for innovation managers and policymakers alike, while also highlighting avenues for future research.

Abstract
This research contributes to bridging the gap between MNs and IEs, offering insights for innovation managers and policymakers alike, while also highlighting avenues for future research.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
