In this letter, written in response to the article by Ninotta et al. on CorneaMax/CorneaJet versus Tissue-C/Carry-C for corneal organ culture, methodological concerns are raised regarding medium renewal, omission of the CornealFloat device, and non-adherence to validated temperature protocols during early organ culture—factors that may have influenced endothelial viability and limit the interpretability of the findings.
