L’inventario della biblioteca del cardinale Domenico Passionei

The article analyses four manuscripts, now in the Biblioteca Palatina in Parma, containing an inventory of the books owned by cardinal Domenico Pas-sionei (1682-1761), one of the richest collections of the eighteenth century. After describing the manuscripts, information taken from them is given about the number of books, their location in the library and their subjects describing matter. Finally an exact transcription of the structure and layout of the manuscripts with their various chapter headings is furnished together with brief notes on the content of books according to the various sections.

L'articolo prende in esame i quattro manoscritti conservati presso la Biblioteca Palatina di Parma contenenti l'inventario della biblioteca del cardinale Domenico Passionei (1682-1761), una delle raccolte più ricche del diciottesimo secolo. Dopo una descrizione dei manoscritti vengono presentati i dati, da essi desumibili, riguardanti la consistenza e la collocazione del materiale della biblioteca. Vengono poi delineate le materie dei libri posseduti dal Passionei e infine viene trascritta la struttura dei manoscritti con le diverse intitolazioni e vengono fornite delle brevi note di contenuto, indicanti l'argomento dei libri di ogni partizione.
