The paper aims to offer a bibliographical review of the Italian translations of Romanian literary texts published, in the period 1988-2023, in the ‘Proposta di lettura’ section of ‘Romània Orientale’, the Romanian studies journal of the Sapienza University of Rome. The bibliographical review is preceded by a short presentation of the journal and a concise explanation of the choice to dedicate a space to literary translation, understood as a practice of ‘linguistic hospitality’
