This paper presents a new inscription from Setia, found as reused material in the walls of the cathedral of Santa Maria. In light of the epigraphic and the archaeological data, the recent surveys in the cathedral’s hypogea and topographical considerations, a proposal is drawn up for the location of the city’s forum square, while considering the difficulties associated with the analysis of a city with continuity of life. estratto
