Identità, passaggi di età e iniziazioni giovanili a Veio tra l’età arcaica e l’età ellenistica: il ruolo delle dee

The precocity of religious manifestations at Veio and the certain presence of the goddesses – Menerva in primis – already in the most ancient forms of worship in the great ‘community’ sanctuary of Portonaccio lead us to pay particular attention to the role of female divinities in relation to the demands of a community that seems to base its identity on values linked to the role that the individual plays within it.
