TThis article proposes a refutation of the hypothesis of the author’s dissolution in the digital space through the analysis of its multiple reconfigurations. By focusing on two areas of the literary digital humanities – the digital edition of texts from the past, and natively digital contemporary creation – several forms of the author’s presence can be examined in the context of a kind of rebirth of the authorial figure after the death sentence it was given. In particular, this article looks at “author-based” heritage sites, contemporary creation sites (mainly that of François Bon), and an example of collective rewriting of Madame Bovary in tweets.

Abstract
TThis article proposes a refutation of the hypothesis of the author’s dissolution in the digital space through the analysis of its multiple reconfigurations. By focusing on two areas of the literary digital humanities – the digital edition of texts from the past, and natively digital contemporary creation – several forms of the author’s presence can be examined in the context of a kind of rebirth of the authorial figure after the death sentence it was given. In particular, this article looks at “author-based” heritage sites, contemporary creation sites (mainly that of François Bon), and an example of collective rewriting of Madame Bovary in tweets.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
