Il lago che combatte. Il lago “ex-SNIA” come case-study di ecopolitica nell’antropocene

“Anthropocene” can be defined as an era in which Homo sapiens has strongly gained the control upon the environment and has conquered the power and the capacities to modify and develop it. From a philosophic point of view this raises a few questions about what may be still considered “nature” in such particular conditions and how to define the related political duties to protect the environment. Beginning with the notion of “hybrid nature” as a salient trait of anthropocene, notion coined by the philosophers G. Pellegrino and M. Di Paola, we’ll see the case study of “ex-SNIA” lake in Rome, which exemplifies the idea of interpenetration between “artificial” and “natural”, then we’ll discuss the idea of “ecopolitics” as a full spectrum of remarks, practices and strategies put in place by concerned citizens and residents.
