PATRIMONIO COSTRUITO URBANO A RISCHIO: INDAGINI SU DB GEORIFERITI PER LA VALUTAZIONE DEL RISCHIO IDROGEOLOGICO E IDRAULICO

The present study illustrates the methodology applied to assess the vulnerability of the historic urban heritage of Asti and Turin to extreme hydrogeological climate events. Geomatics proves essential for large-scale analyses, as integrating heterogeneous geospatial and georeferenced data enables the identification of historic assets located in hydrogeological risk areas and the evaluation of their exposure to climate change. Furthermore, thanks to multi-temporal urban-scale investigations through comparisons between historical and current DSMs, it is possible to analyse geomorphological changes in the urban landscape. The main objective is to develop integrated approaches that contribute to preventive urban conservation by providing useful results for risk management and the protection of cultural heritage.
