This research focuses on the reuse of the abandoned Companhia Paulista Officinas into “Espaço Expressa”, at Jundiaí in the city of São Paolo, Brazil. On behalf of the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders and through an ongoing participatory process, this neglected and unused urban area, abandoned for over two decades, has been transformed into a space of expression for the community.
