During the 2019 and 2021 excavation campaigns of the Cencelle Project, the archaeological context of a room, pertaining to a larger building located in the south-western sector of the Cencelle settlement and probably related to the nearby military garrison, was investigated and documented in its entirety. The room was originally divided by partitions into two portions, named E and F. The stratigraphy returned from the context and related to the living and abandonment phases of the room was of great importance, as it was sealed by the collapse of the roof and, later, of the wall structures. The excavation also brought to light large pieces of flooring, as well as a considerable amount of pottery, some of it valuable, and iron objects, useful to identify a residential and perhaps storage use. Here we present the stratigraphic context in its main evolutionary lines, reconstructed also thanks to the study, albeit preliminary, of the material data found.

Abstract
Here we present the stratigraphic context in its main evolutionary lines, reconstructed also thanks to the study, albeit preliminary, of the material data found.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
