Abstract

As workplace dynamics shift toward greater flexibility, corporate mobility faces growing challenges in efficiency, sustainability, and adaptability. While remote work adoption has expanded significantly in recent years, comprehensive frameworks that effectively align remote work policies with sustainable mobility strategies remain limited. This research proposes a Flexible and Integrated Framework for Smart Working and Corporate Mobility, a data-driven approach that aligns mobility strategies with remote work policies. Through cluster analysis of employees’ socio-demographic profiles, commuting behaviors, and work preferences, it identifies mobility needs to develop tailored, sustainable corporate mobility plans. The framework also addresses Scope 3 emissions, particularly Category 7 (Employee Commuting), a key but often overlooked contributor to corporate carbon footprints. By bridging empirical research with practical applications, this framework provides businesses with actionable tools to optimize mobility management, reduce emissions, and enhance work-life balance. Positioned at the crossroads of digital transformation, corporate mobility, and sustainability, this study advances academic discourse on the future of work while providing a scalable model for businesses and policymakers pursuing greener mobility solutions.
