This paper intends to provide a comprehensive over-view of the current state-of-the-art practices in wireless power transfer (WPT) technology within the automotive sector, while addressing pertinent issues related to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic field (EMF) safety compliance, as well as highlighting ongoing challenges and areas for further exploration.
