We appreciate the letter from Montorsi et al, which provides an opportunity to further clarify the role of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) and the Vesical Imaging-Reporting and Data System (VI-RADS) scoring system [1] in the management of non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). Their insights, drawn from exceptional clinical experience and data, contribute to the ongoing discussion regarding the necessity of second-look transurethral resection of bladder tumor (re-TURB) and its role in optimizing outcomes for patients with NMIBC.

Abstract
We appreciate the letter from Montorsi et al, which provides an opportunity to further clarify the role of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) and the Vesical Imaging-Reporting and Data System (VI-RADS) scoring system [1] in the management of non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC).
