This contribution examines the entertainment buildings of the Roman city of Suasa, with particular reference to the amphitheatre and the theatre. The amphitheatre, known for centuries and partially excavated in the 20th century, has recently been the subject of a new study promoted by the University of Bologna. A digital survey has been carried out to analyse the technical and structural characteristics of the monuments, providing a comprehensive overview of their architectural and functional features. These characteristics indicate that the Roman amphitheatre can be classified as a type of solid structure with a cavea supported by compartmentalised embankments. The methodological approach, integrating historical data and new technologies, has resulted in significant results and offers new perspectives for research and heritage enhancement. The theatre was identified by aerial photography in 2002 and excavated the following year. This has contributed to a comprehensive understanding of public entertainment architecture in the Roman centre, confirming Suasa's status as a city with a well-developed urban infrastructure during the imperial period.
