A conferene on Mesoamerican studies under the theme “communication” from the perspective of all possible disciplinary and inter- and transdisciplinary viewpoints. Communication will be discussed very broadly, from human to otherthan-human communication, language to writing systems, art and architecture, avenues of communication (roads, rivers, etc.), communication within the built environment, communication inside a single Mesoamerican culture & between different cultures, contact-period & colonial era, communication between Indigenous peoples and Europeans, communication as representation (literature), communicating Mesoamerica today in schools & media, communication through outreach and experience interchange, etc.
