The findings reveal a significant global interest in smart village research, with notable contributions from various countries and institutions. Key themes identified include sustainable development, climate-smart agriculture, information and communication technology, energy management, and policy frameworks. The study underscores the need for future research to prioritize good governance principles, thereby enhancing the integration of these principles within smart village studies.
