In this presentation, we suggest incorporating experimental activities, carried out with modem digital tools, into the teaching of physics, in order to involve students in the design and construction of experimental apparatus with which they collect data to be analysed. Our approach is made original by including aspects such as beauty, traditionally reserved for the humanities, and by drawing frequent parallels with the fine arts and literature.
