This essay intends to compare recent developments in the vast theme of “gift theory,” particularly in the work of Philippe Chanial, with the Italian economic and social tradition represented by authors rooted in the 1800s (such as Giuseppe Mazzini) and largely "condensed" in the 1948 Constitution, making reference to several articles of the constitutional text and some significant authors along this path, despite all their complexities and differences.
